Née en 1976 à Turin, où elle vit et travaille, elle est diplômée en peinture et a ensuite continué à approfondir ses recherches artistiques à travers le dessin et la peinture.  Elle a récemment reçu la bourse de la Fondation Pollock-Krasner à New York et depuis 1997, ses œuvres sont également exposées à l'international (Allemagne, France, Royaume-Uni, États-Unis) aussi bien dans des galeries privées que dans des espaces publics, culturels et institutionnels.  Lauréate de plusieurs prix, ses œuvres ont été publiées sur les couvertures et les pages de magazines d'art contemporain.  Certaines de ses œuvres sont présentes dans des musées, des fondations, des collections publiques et privées, tant en Italie qu'à l'étranger.

Nata nel 1976 a Torino, dove vive e lavora, si laurea in Pittura e successivamente continua ad approfondire la propria ricerca artistica attraverso il disegno e la pittura. Le è stato recentemente assegnato il grant della Pollock-Krasner Foundation di New York e a partire dal 1997, le sue opere sono state esposte anche a livello internazionale (Germania, Francia, Regno Unito, Stati Uniti) sia in gallerie private che in spazi pubblici, culturali ed istituzionali. Vincitrice di diversi premi, i suoi lavori sono stati pubblicati sulle copertine e
pagine di riviste di arte contemporanea. Alcune delle sue opere sono presenti in musei, fondazioni, collezioni pubbliche e private, sia in Italia che all’estero.

Born in 1976 in Turin (Italy), where she lives and works, she graduated in Painting and subsequently continued to deepen her artistic research through drawing and painting. She has been the recipient of the grant awarded by the Pollock-Krasner Foundation of New York City as well as of other awards and prizes throughout her career. From 1997 onwards, numerous international (Germany, France, U.K., U.S.A.) key galleries and museums have widely featured Filomena’s works, which have also appeared on the covers and pages of contemporary art magazines. Some of her works belong to museums, foundations, public and private collections, both in Italy and abroad.
